WHAT IS A BABY BOOMER?
Baby Boomers are a group of people born between 1946 and 1964.
After the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, our parents rushed to join in the war effort . They sacrificed dreams, college, careers - thousands sacrificed their very lives -because they believed it was necessary to preserve our way of life. When the war ended, the soldiers came home and married their sweethearts. The explosion of babies that occurred upon their return was called baby boomers.
Some of us have created a chat room where we reminisce, brag and/or complain about our children and grandchildren - and vent about our world. On Friday nights, we "party" in the room - and I write up a rccap of the goings-on.
